Beauty Birds: What's Been Happeningđź’‹

Hey Beauty Birds!

The semester is officially underway, and we’ve been busy! From skincare lessons and foundation matching to volunteering around campus, there’s been a lot happening in the Beauty Birds community.

What We’ve Been Up To

General Body Meetings

We’ve kicked off the semester with four GBMs focused on all things beauty!

  • GBM 1: We welcomed new and returning members, met some amazing prospective members, and kicked things off with a fun skincare game.

  • GBM 2: We learned the basics of skincare, including how to identify your skin type and build a routine.

  • GBM 3: We put our skincare knowledge to work and learned how to find the right primer and foundation match for our skin.

  • GBM 4: We learned how to choose shades that complement our skin tones and apply contour, blush, and highlight.

Basically, we’ve been learning, laughing, and getting a little more beauty-educated along the way!

Beauty Birds on Campus

Our members have also been getting involved beyond our meetings. During Evening with Recruiters and the Fox Career Fair, Beauty Birds volunteered to provide makeup touch-ups for students, staff, and recruiters.

It was the perfect opportunity to put our skills into practice while helping members of the Temple community feel confident and career-ready.


BIG NEWS: We’re Officially an SPO!

We have some exciting news: Beauty Birds is officially a Student-Professional Organization (SPO)!

This is a huge step for our organization and opens the door for even more opportunities to connect beauty, creativity, and professional development.


Member Dues Reminder

Don’t forget! Member dues are due October 4th.

  • Semester: $20

  • Full Year: $35

Make sure to get your dues in by the deadline to stay active with Beauty Birds!

We’re excited to share that Beauty Birds was selected to participate in the Sampling Squad Student Org Gifting Program with Noxzema!


Through the program, Noxzema gifted our members pimple patches and anti-blemish pads to try and incorporate into their skincare routines. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to connect our members with new beauty and skincare products while partnering with brands that support student organizations.
